Superstition (Wonder) Zingaresque (2018) National Festival, Birmingham

Zingaresque was formed in 1994 by Richard Leigh and Tim Perkins and explores highly diverse musical genres rooted in many different World and Traditional cultures. Performances reflect the personal styles and preferences of the group members, often bringing a highly original modern slant to the music.

The instrumental make up of the group is highly diverse and fluid and players often use their skills on a variety of instruments and voice. An important aspect of their work is the collaborative nature of the composition and performance development, with all contributions from members being equally valid.
